It is now the beginning of June, and my Cantaloupes, Watermelons, and Cucumbers are developing. This is a critical time to keep them well fed and well watered. It takes a lot of energy for these plants to develop fruit.
I like to feed my garden with a fresh batch of compost tea, liquid seaweed, or compost. To my delight, I found my compost to be rich, black, and ready to use after six months of kitchen contributions and weekly turnings.
