School Gardens

I don't know if this is an Austin trend, or simply a coincidence, but I am frequently being asked by schools to help them set up gardens.

I will post pictures of the preliminary phase on two of the ones I am working on now. Both schools want to set up Butterfly Gardens which are a great learning tool for Science classes. The kids love going outside and interacting with nature. Butterfly gardens are very rewarding because they involve lots of color, and attract a variety of butterflies, bees and hummingbirds.
