Wow! A box full of baby chicks. We ordered them from a farm in Cameron that has some really great varieties of chickens. They can send the chicks to your home in a box, or pick them up. We bought 20 day old chickens and will have to raise them to distinguish between the males and females.
We built a chicken condo for them outside and will transfer for them after four weeks under a heat lamp. They eat a lot and grow quickly. I will write more details about each variety we bought in the next post.
