April Garden Events

Here are all the great events happening in Austin Texas this month:

Plant Swap & Sale: This Sunday from 1:00 - 3:00, the Windsor Park gardeners will be hosting a plant swap and sale at the community garden.
SWAP: Bring a plant or plants you don't need (for example, one gardener will take some cuttings of her chocolate mint and dig up some of the skull cap
volunteers in my garden) and take a plant someone else brings.
SALE: They'll have tiny tomato and pepper plants for sale at $1 a piece
or six for $5.

Garden Work Day: Windsor Park Community Garden is building a fence which will incorporate recycled materials, worm towers and community art. From 2pm-6pm they will be setting posts, ripping donated redwood boards and building frames which will eventually be filled in by local artists, architects, welders, carpenters and anyone else who wants to participate. All help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Windsor Park Community Garden is located at 5817 Westminster Drive, 78723, behind the Austin Mennonite Church which is next door to the Windsor Village Library on Westminster.
