Garden Squash Recipe

Do you want to impress your guests with an authentic winter squash soup? It is very tasty and relatively easy to make. I like it because it fits with the cold weather, and the gourds are a nice festive addition to the fruit bowl.

So, here is how you can make it:

1 butternut squash per 2 servings
2 TBSP Butter
2 TBSP Brown Sugar
1 TBSP Flax Seed
4 tsp Cinnamon
2 tsp Ginger
3/4 C Almond Milk

Cut the Butternut Squash in half lengthwise, remove and save seeds for later, and put on a shallow pan with just a little water. Cook in the oven on 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Scoop out the insides and place in a food processor. Add the butter and blend. Next ad the spices and milk. Blend. Use your taste buds to gauge if if needs more spice. If not serve right away in small serving bowls. Bon Appetit!
