Good bye St. Augustine!


The City of Austin is desperately trying to manage the water shortages that have been exasperated by the drought and extreme heat. The newest proposal is to reduce homeowner's thirsty lawns. St. Augustine when planted in full sun conditions requires a lot of irrigation to stay healthy. So, if you are willing to convert to a native landscape or more drought tolerant lawn grass, they will provide you with a rebate if you apply by Oct. 15th.
