Here is a great resource for what's in bloom now from the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. They are also having an event this Saturday where you can take some Native Texas plants home!I will now rate my top 3 favorite plants from this site:
1) Turk's Cap - hardy shade red blooming plant that usually stays green all year round!
2) Blue Mistflower - prolific bloomer and attracts a flurry of Monarch butterflies!
3) Blackfoot Daisy - dainty white flowers that truly require little water and a lot of heat.
