I have been doing some research on rebates offered by the City of Austin so my company Yarrow Landscaping can help homeowners identify opportunities for conservation and to save them money on their bills.
Here are some that definitely seem worthwhile!
FREE SHOWERHEADS: Showers use up to 30% of our water consumption. The City will give you new heads that reduce water usage. Read more here how to pick one up

WASHING MACHINE REBATE: If you purchase a washing machine that qualifies you can earn a rebate
RAIN WATER COLLECTION: $.50 per gallon or $1 (pressurized system) per gallon rebate for rain collection systems. This is a favorite! We have partnered with Equitable Green Group to install all sorts of systems.
IRRIGATION EVALUATION: A licensed irrigator from the City will evaluate your current system to help you find inefficiencies and program your controller. Then, you can hire a company like mine to make changes and adjustments with a rebate!
POOL COVER REBATE: Buy a manual pool cover get $50, or a mechanical one get $250
I will keep checking the rebates and update this if they do the landscape conversion rebate again or other newbies!
