Wonderful Tea

One of my favorite activities is to concoct recipes from the garden. This is a tasty recipe for making hot tea!

Take Lemon Grass and crush the bulbs, chop up the stems. Boil some hot water on the stove (or your solar oven) and place them in a French Press. Add some loose roasted Dandelion Root (recipe from previous post) and liberally squeeze in Agave Nectar.

Let it steep for several minutes, use your press and serve warm with a side of Dates or Figs. I would suggest asking a friend like, Jessie from Smiley Dog Farm to help serve it with a smile.

The Dandelion root and Lemon Grass both aid in digestion and ease cramps.

Factoid:
The Lemon grass is a good cleanser that helps to detoxify the Liver, pancreas, kidney, bladder and the digestive tract. It cuts down uric acid, cholesterol, excess fats and other toxins in the body while stimulating digestion, blood circulation, and lactation; it also alleviates indigestion and gastroenteritis. It is said that lemongrass also helps improve the skin by reducing acne and pimples and acts as a muscle and tissue toner.
